The Girl by the Lake
La Ragazza del Lago
A young woman is found dead by a mountain lake in northern Italy. Inspector Sanzio investigates. Less a whodunit than a portrait of a community and the secrets a small place keeps — and the ways people protect each other from truth. Toni Servillo is flawless, as always. Won five David di Donatello Awards including Best Film.
